No business can exist without customers.

Find out how to make sure that you start off your business on the right path.

Okay, so now you have a new company in place - or you have been running for some time, but you have little visibility in the market place. You'll need some "below-the-line" advertising as well as some strategically placed ads in the correct media which have impact. But those ad agencies charge a fortune and you don't have that to spend so you consider some self designed desk top publishing, print some brochure and business card on you ink jet printer and off you go. Three months later, and you have come to the conclusion that advertising sucks, and you're in much the same boat as you were before. "So what's wrong?" you ask yourself.

I am often amazed when I go to a trade show to see how many brave but futile attempts have been made by exhibitors believing that they'll save some money and do the graphic design job themselves. Those same business owners would never consider servicing their own expensive German luxury cars but believe they are as good a graphic designer as the next - purely because they own a computer.

Sadly their attempts are there for all to see, certainly NOT creating an appropriate professional image, and losing potential business. The would-be customer walking by say to themselves "If they don't attend to these little details, which reflect on THEM, how can we be sure that they will deal with OUR needs as WE would like?"

Whether we like it or not, people judge you and your business by the first impression. And if that first impression is good, then you can move onto the next step. If not, you will have to work hard at getting the door open again.

Often that first impression is created or supported by your printed promotional publications, your letterheads and of course your business cards. If these reinforce the image you wish to project for your business, you're making headway. The advice and involvement of experienced graphic designers can provide guidance on appropriate colour and look choices. Good logo designs also go a long way toward presenting an appropriate look and feel.

Since small business can rarely afford the permanent services of graphic designers with good knowledge of print and packaging - we have decided to partner with a firm of creative designers based in Sandton, South Africa. In this way you have access to cost effective great-looking, professionally produced printed media, good advertising designs, posters, brochures, exhibition stands, packaging design, and much more.
